Felt Horned Lizard

I made this felt horned lizard (horny toad to us Arizonans) for my father, who requested either that or a chuckwalla. I think horny toads are cuter, so that’s what I went with, roughly life-sized. The problem with almost all lizards is that they’re pointy, while felt is soft. That leads to soft points and poked fingers from all the small corners. Horny toads are pointier than most. Still, I put a good effort in. I’ll probably stick to soft and fluffy animals for a while after this, though.

If you or someone you know would like a little lizard of your own, visit my Etsy shop to order one.
