Yet another reason to go to church

It has been my experience that it’s almost always a good idea to go to church whenever there’s an opportunity, both because church services are a good in themselves (more time with God and all that), and because pleasant experiences tend to congregate about them. This morning, for instance, I was (alas!) late for Liturgy, but met four nice fellows visiting from San Diego, ate breakfast with them, met a nice woman, helped assemble a trellis, and was invited to a monastery feast day next week. The other part of this is to go to church and then introduce oneself (awkwardly if need be) to whoever is still standing around afterward.
