In case you can’t tell, I’m very fond of sunsets, and they’re very lovely around here this time of year.

I was laying on the college grassy knoll this evening, writing and watching the sunset (which was lovely as always), and for a few minutes the light hit the inner branches of the enormous tree above me such that it glowed orange amidst the general darkness as though embers were eating through the branches, lighting it from within. Also, the sun, which, being a light source, doesn’t photograph very well, was Mount Doom red-orange.
